How to make oats fufu in the microwave

This an easy and fast way to make oats fufu. You need to try this oats fufu. When you do, you will get hooked.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups homemade oat flour
  • 3 or 4 cups of water see note 1 below

Instructions

  • Mix the water and oat flour till smooth
  • Cover bowl with microwave safe lid and pop into the microwave
  • Cook on high power for 4-5 mins.
  • Bring out and stir
  • Divide into four portions and wrap in Saran Wrap
  • Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days

If want a softer fufu, use 4 cups of water. (I usually use 3 cups) It may seem too wet after making it. Turn it and let it cool a bit before wrapping. It becomes thicker as it cools.
It is important to wrap oat fufu in Saran /cello Wrap if you are not eating immediately. This will prevent the oat fufu from forming a skin over it.
