Here is an amazing no churn birthday cake Ice cream. Full of bright colored sprinkles and bursting with vanilla flavor... Soooo... who's in? If you are one of those who frequently type in the question birthday cake ice cream near me on the search bar then this delightful easy dessert recipe is for you.
Pour cold heavy cream and vanilla extract into bowl, Whisk heavy cream till fluffy ( always be careful not to over whisk or else you will be on your way to making homemade butter)
Add the vanilla flavor or extract and then fold in the sweetened condensed milk
Method 1: (Gluten Free Method)
Transfer the ice cream into an ice cream bowl
Pour the sprinkles on top and gently mix in in an S or swirl motion ( I prefer to mix in the sprinkles at the end to reduce the chances of a bleed of colors)
Freeze for up to 6 hrs to overnight
Method 2:
Since the vanilla cake mix has raw flour, I like to put it in a microwave safe bowl and heat it up for 20 secs then let it cool before use.
After folding in the sweetened condensed milk, gently mix in the cooled cake mix, add in sprinkles,
Transfer to an ice cream bowl cover with cling wrap and freeze for up to 6 hrs to overnight.
Notes
When you are ready to have your ice cream, let it sit at room temperature for about a minute to become easily scoopable.
The second method is not gluten free. For gluten free birthday cake ice cream, use the first method.
See body of post for a link to a huge list of gluten free ice cream options. Add sprinkles last to reduce the chances of color bleeding.
I used gluten free sprinkles. Though most sprinkles are gluten free, make sure to confirm by reading the labels of the products you buy.
