Ingredients

cups
rolled oats
if gluten-free, use certified gluten-free oats
3 ½
cups
milk
you can substitute with 2 cups of milk and 1 1/2 cup of water

Tablespoon
Sweetner of choice
honey, maple syrup etc
1 ½
Tbsp
cocoa powder
¼
tsp
salt
½
tsp
decaf instant coffee
optional
1
tsp
vanilla essence
Suggested Toppings:
Chocolate chunks
Fruits, nuts etc.

Prevent your screen from going dark
Instructions
Warm up milk in a sauce pan, then turn off heat. Do not bring to boil.
Dissolve cocoa, and coffee in the milk then add salt and vanilla to the milk and stir
Add the oats into the milk mixture then turn heat on to medium low.
Cook till done. You have to stir continuously to prevent burning. Takes about 6 mins to get fully cooked.
Serve with more milk, toppings of choice.
Sweeten to your taste with sweetener of choice.
Notes
Use gluten free oats if you are gluten free
You can substitute milk with plant based milk if you are dairy free or vegan.
You can also substitute some of the milk in the recipe with water if you want.
