Honey syrup or honey simple syrup is a great way to sweeten teas, cocktails, mock tails or homemade juices without the need to use refined sugar. It’s simply simple syrup made with honey, therefore it requires just 2 ingredients and a few minutes of your time
Bring mix to a low boil while stirring till honey dissolves and blends in with water.
Let it cool completely before using. Transfer cooler syrup into a swing top bottle or mason jar and store in the refrigerator for 2 weeks
Notes
You don’t have to use an equal ratio when making honey syrup. You can reduce the sweetness of the syrup by making a ratio of 1 part of water to 1/2 part of honey.
Recipe can be doubled or tripled as needed.
