Ingredients
¾
pound
salted butter
3 sticks of butter
¾
cup
granulated sugar
3
oz
strawberry jello
3 ½
cup
flour
1
tsp
vanilla extract
½
tsp
lemon extract
½
tablespoon
lemon zest

Prevent your screen from going dark
Instructions
Cream butter, sugar and strawberry gelatin till light and fluffy
Add lemon extract, lemon zest and flour. Mix to form a dough.
Divide dough into 2
Roll each dough into a log refrigerate for at least an hour
After the hour, preheat oven to 350F
Line baking sheet with parchment paper
Get dough logs from refrigerator, remove cling film then slice to cut out
Place on prepared baking sheet
Bake for 12 mins to 15 mins
Notes
The cookies will come out soft but will harden as they cool
Chilling the dough makes its easier to slice.
You can also use strawberry extract to bump up the strawberry flavor.
