Would this dough work to be rolled out and cut with a cookie cutter?
Hi Abby,
It would. Remember to dust your work surface with flour or roll between 2 parchment paper sheets to make it easier.
How much lemon zest?? This is mentioned several times, but no amount is given.
Hi Laurie,
Thank you for bringing it to my notice. I’ll fix that ASAP! I use 1/2 Tablespoon of lemon zest. Which is zest from a small lemon of 1/2 of a large lemon. Enjoy!

Chichi,
I was about to make the dough and then noticed that vanilla extract, in addition to the lemon extract, is an ingredient. However, you do not include it in the directions, ie when to add it, etc. Please advise; I’m waiting for your response before I make the strawberry lemon cookies……
Ellen
Hi Ellen,
Add both at the same time. I will update it in a bit. Thank you for your observation. Merry Christmas!
