This blog is gradually growing to be a source of income for me. One of the main ways I earn money through My Diaspora Kitchen is through advertising. However, beyond this, I do sometimes generate an income from blog posts themselves in one of the following ways.
Affiliate Links
I have an affiliate relationship with various companies and brands. As an affiliate, I receive a small commission if you choose to purchase a product or service from one of my affiliate links. You do not incur any additional costs by purchasing through one of my links. I will occasionally include affiliate links where relevant throughout content. All posts will include a notice at the top disclosing that the post may contain an affiliate link. it would include a link back to this page so you can learn more about affiliate links and how they affect you as a reader.
Sponsored Content
I occasionally post sponsored content in which I am paid a fee in order to write a post highlighting a particular product, event or service on behalf of a brand. The posts are written by me and include my honest thoughts, opinions and ideas. I don't accept all sponsored post opportunities that I am presented with, The ones I choose to work with, I choose with you my readers in mind. If I don't find it a good fit for my readers, I don't accept it. If a post is sponsored, it will be clearly noted at the top of the post.
Reviews
I may occasionally post reviews of products or services. I may receive the product at no cost in order to facilitate my review. However, beyond this, I do not accept any monetary compensation for reviews. I only do reviews for products that would be beneficial to you so you can make an informed buying decision. If I received a free product in order to facilitate my review, it will be clearly noted at the top of the post.
