How to make these Easy Healthy Watermelon Popsicles.

Easy Peasy. All you need is to blend the watermelon in a nice blender, fill up the molds, cover mold with mold lid , stick in the popsicle sticks, pop into the freezer for a few hours then enjoy. You don't even need to use sugar or any sweetener for this watermelon Popsicles. They are perfect as is.

I love using my Popsicle molds because I love the way it looks. But if you don't mind your Popsicles looking a little different from the regular Popsicles, you can always use these little disposable cups. With the disposable cups you will need to let the Popsicles freeze a bit before sticking in the popsicle sticks.

Unmolding the Popsicles

You need to make sure the Popsicles are fully and completely frozen for at least 4 hrs before unmolding them. This way we can prevent them from falling apart while trying to get them out of the mold.

When they are fully frozen, to get them out, run cold water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds this would help loosen the Popsicles and help slide them out easily.

There is a newer and different Popsicle mold which is made from silicon which may be easier to unmold than mine because of the silicon material.

How to Store left over Popsicles.

You could either

  • Leave the left overs in the mold OR
  • Unmold them, then transfer them while still frozen to a ziplock bag and freeze for up to a month.

I love an uncomplicated recipe! Especially when it ends up feeling like a treat but is still healthy.
