I know summer is almost over. And I also know I am behind on my summer recipes lol. My phone is literally teaming with pictures of all the amazing recipes I would love to share with you my online friends. Finding time to settle down and draft out the posts this summer has been challenging to say the least. With all three kiddos wanting mamas attention all the time. I secretly love it ? because every time spent with a loved one is precious..

Well today is Labor Day in the US an unofficial end of summer day. Today's temperature was in the 90s again. Couldn't resist making some delicious and refreshing watermelon juice. Trust me it was a welcome coolant. Lol. Well summer is officially over in a little over 2 weeks or so. You still have time to try this cold and refreshing glass of watermelon juice.

Back to our sugar-free watermelon juice. You know how watermelons are seen around in the grocery stores... huge huge huge watermelons. Well have you been wondering how you can use up this H-U-G-E watermelon. No need to worry anymore just

  • Make a Watermelon Salad
  • Make watermelon juice which we is the recipe for today's post.
  • Make a watermelon slushy
  • What about you eat it just like that ? go ahead and cut out some wedges and enjoy.
  • Watermelon Popsicles

Anyway this Watermelon juice is so easy to make. And takes so little of your time. Serve it chilled. It so refreshing... Watermelon is a very healthy fruit. You can read all about how healthy watermelon is in this post.

Are you Team 'sieve' or Team 'do not sieve' your watermelon juice?

I like my watermelon juice both ways. Sometimes i sieve the juice and sometimes I don't. For the kiddos I usually give them the sieved juice because that's what they prefer. I guess it's probably because the fiber rich watermelon juice though smooth it's not as smooth and velvety creamy as our homemade mango juice. The benefits of the unsieved juice is the fact that it is fiber rich since everything is included so you get the full benefits of its fiber content. My mom in law totally loves this version.

Pro tip: if you intend to have the un-sieved watermelon juice, make sure you use the seedless watermelon variety.

Want to sieve your juice. This nut bag will be super helpful.

Some people like to add salt to their watermelon fruit while eating the flesh of the watermelon. I haven't tried it but my cousin loves eating her watermelon with salt. I have also seen some watermelon juice recipes with salt added. If you are like my cousin who adds salt to her watermelon then feel Free to add a bit of salt to your juice after blending. A quarter teaspoon of salt will work for this recipe.

If you do add salt to your watermelon juice, please drop a comment so we can know if it went well.

Are you on a strict low carb diet?

Try my healthy cucumber juice You will love it.

Did you find this post useful. I would love and appreciate it if you share this post with your family and friends and in your favorite Facebook group

Watermelon juice is so hydrating and refreshing. I actually prefer juice to eating the watermelon - no seeds that way!

It’s a lot less messy to make juice out of it really ?

I grew up eating salt on my watermelon. Now I love it without. I've never tried making juice out of it. Sounds amazing!
