Fall is fast approaching and with fall comes pumpkin spice and everything nice. This is definitely the time to make this homemade pumpkin pie spice blend. Yup I said homemade. It’s so easy to make that I don’t bother buying the ‘store bought’ blend anymore. The flavors in the homemade version are rich and intense because they are freshly made unlike the ones in the store which you probably don’t know when it was mixed.
I love cinnamon so naturally pumpkin spice was a fav for me too. It happens to be my son’s fav too. This is the time we make pumpkin everything ranging from our breakfast pancakes to icecream to even hot cocoa hmmm. I intend using pumpkin spice in a some of our Nigerian recipes so don’t forget to subscribe for free so you don’t miss any recipe.
I also decided to make some pumpkin spice sugar to be used for dusting my pumpkin goods 😉. You can sub with cinnamon sugar if you prefer which is a little similar in taste but this is “fall” we are talking about so why not just respect ya sef and use pumpkin spice sugar.
